Installation and purchase
Install Geoguessr Finder from the Chrome Web Store. Open a supported GeoGuessr round and click the extension icon to view the current location. Sign in and purchase within the extension after the trial if you want lifetime access.
Only the Chrome edition is included in the USD 3.99 one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and does not include Steam.
Sign-in code did not arrive
- Check spam, promotions, and the address you entered.
- Wait at least one minute before requesting another code. Each code expires after ten minutes.
- If the issue continues, email support from the same address if possible.
Paid but access is not showing
- Sign in with the same email address used at checkout.
- Close and reopen the extension, then check the license status again.
- If it still shows the trial, send support the purchase email, date, and Stripe receipt or payment reference. Do not send card details.
Location or pin is not working
Open a supported GeoGuessr round before requesting a location. Refresh the page and extension, then try again. Some game modes or game updates may not expose the expected location data. If you report a problem, include the game mode, extension version, and a screenshot with personal information removed.
Steam Edition access
The Steam Edition includes three free location uses, separately counted from Chrome, and separate paid plans. Eligible signed-in accounts can download the installer and purchase Steam access. The Windows installer will require your Geoguessr Finder email and password, not a Steam password. If a future installer reports an unsupported game version, do not force the installation; include the game version and installer version in your support message.
Steam Monthly renewal can be cancelled from the signed-in Steam Edition account page. Cancellation keeps access until the paid period ends, unless that period's charge is refunded. See the Steam terms and Steam refund and cancellation policy.
