Steam Edition terms

Separate third-party product

Geoguessr Finder Steam Edition is a third-party desktop tool for a supported GeoGuessr Steam Edition game installation. It is not sold through the Steam Store, is not part of Steam Pass, does not include the game, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by GeoGuessr or Valve. A Chrome Edition purchase does not provide Steam Edition access, and a Steam Edition purchase does not provide Chrome Edition access.

Free trial and payment

A verified Steam Edition account receives three free location uses, independent of any Chrome Edition trial. Each newly detected automatic location or manual refresh consumes one use, including a newly detected Street View position; repeated checks of the same position do not consume another automatic use. Used Steam trial uses do not reset after reinstalling or changing devices.

Steam Lifetime costs USD 4.99 once and has no scheduled expiry or recurring charge. Steam Monthly costs USD 2.99 per month and renews automatically until cancelled. Checkout is processed by Stripe. The amount and currency displayed for confirmation at checkout are the amounts you authorize; your bank may apply conversion or other fees.

You can cancel monthly renewal from your signed-in account page. Cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues to the end of the paid period unless the payment that grants that access is refunded or disputed. See the separate Steam Edition refund and cancellation policy, including the 14-day refund window for each charge.

Account, download and installation

Use your Geoguessr Finder email account and a password set after email-code verification. Do not enter a Steam account password on our website or into the installer. While Steam trial uses remain or after confirmed paid entitlement activation, a signed-in account can download the Windows installer. The installer checks Steam Edition access and the supported game version before modifying local game files. Keep a backup of your game files and use the installer’s restore function if needed. An internet connection is required for account and entitlement checks.

Compatibility and “lifetime”

Access applies to this tool, not to the game itself. The installer supports only tested game builds; a game or platform update may temporarily or permanently make it incompatible. “Lifetime” means the Steam Edition license has no set expiration; it does not guarantee every future game build will be supported or that the online account service will operate forever. We will publish compatibility information and, where reasonably possible, service-change notices on this website.

Permitted use and support

You are responsible for following the rules of the game, event, or platform where you use the tool. Third-party assistance may be prohibited, including in competitive play. Do not use the tool contrary to applicable rules. No game result or account outcome is guaranteed. Contact terenban6297@gmail.com for access or installation problems. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling. We may revise these terms by posting a new version and effective date; applicable mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
